ABOUT

As a board-certified art therapist and watercolor artist, I am deeply drawn to how creativity can be a pathway to healing and human resilience. My journey began during a season of personal health challenges. Discovering a humble watercolor palette became a turning point, revealing how suffering could power creative energy and how art can foster profound healing. This ultimately lead me to the creation of Coco Bee Art—a YouTube channel devoted to sharing art’s therapeutic potential, and the completion of a Master of Arts in Art Therapy.

My work blends Western watercolor with the reflective white space and expressive, intuitive brushwork of Eastern traditions. My philosophy is process-focused rather than the product. In my practice, form, color, and gestures communicate from the subconscious what words cannot. For me, art is not only a practice of self meditation but a space for self discovery, play, and transformation. As both an artist and art therapist, I remain dedicated to discovering and sharing how art—whether on watercolor paper, in hospital rooms, or through digital spaces—can help us transcend pain, reclaim joy, and rediscover our own resilience.
